UPDATE January 2022
It is reassuring to note that restrictions in the community are gradually being lifted and that Boris feels we are definitely working towards declaring the Pandemic an Endemic and removing measures in the Spring.
In Socialcare our different measures continue to apply for the time being. As soon as that situation changes we will let you know. In the meantime we will continue to offer a social and stimulating environment introducing more activities and getting out into the community again when we are able.
Thank you for your continued support which has helped us keep our clients safe whilst at YAWN Life despite many of them being very vulnerable.
Watch this space for updates as hopefully restrictions start to be safely removed. We will of course remain cautious and take it slowly step by step to keep everyone as safe as possible.

UPDATE April 2021
It is fantastic to welcome all our Shielders back on site this week as well as everyone else after their Easter Weekend.
We are still operating a VERY COVID secure environment. You are all now experts at washing hands, anti bacing, mask wearing, keeping your areas clean safe and secure and remembering to stay 2m away from others. You have now all had your first vaccine and will shortly be having your second ones. Thank you all for being so amazing.
Every area of our premises are now filled with fun and laughter once again and we know you very happy to be back with your friends. Thank you again to parents who are still helping out by transporting each day - this has been very important to getting everyone back on site.

UPDATE 24/1/21
As the National Lockdown and situation locally has not improved significantly we are continuing with our enhanced remote service for the time being.
Many of our clients are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable CEV) and will be shielding until 21st February and for everyone following the national guidelines to stay home as much as possible, is the safest thing to do at this time.
We will review the situation after Boris's announcement in February and update everyone at that time.
Vaccinations are now well underway - many of our staff received theirs this week and we know some of our CEV clients have had theirs too. By the 21st February we believe the majority of our clients will have been offered their first vaccine.
We are very happy to answer any concerns or questions via text email or phone or just ask any of the staff during Zoom or their calls to you and we will give you a call.
